weeks of teaching practice exercise in various secondary and primary schools within and outside the state.
The students who
spent a full semester on practical teaching as against the former practice of
spending just 6 weeks. Uwen Jacob who was posted to Emilis Secondary School
Calabar, said the exercise really create an opportunity for them to perform the
practical aspect of what they have been taught.
Receiving the
students teachers in the faculty complex the Dean of the faculty Prof. Florence
Obi congratulated them for wonderful performance during the practical exercise she
added that the students should remain good ambassadors of the faculty and the
university at large.
Addressing the
students also, the coordinator of teaching practice, Dr. (Mrs) C. A. Agbor,
assures them that none of them will fail, but those students who do not report
to his/her station will repeat the exercise next session.
